GroupM Wins Three Awards at The China Advertising and Brand Conference
The China Advertising and Brand Conference 2011 took place in Shanghai on March 17th and 18th. More than 400 industry elites and senior executives attended the two-day event.
The event was organized by "China Advertising" magazine, the first and nowone of the most influential trade publications in China's advertising industry, to review the ups and downs in the last 30 years of the China's advertising industry.
Bessie Lee, CEO of GroupM China, was invited to speak at the event. In her presentation, she addressed the five challenges facing China's advertising industry: diversity management, price war, industry transparency, digital and new breed of talents.
Charles Courier, CEO of MEC Global was also invited as one of the speakers. In the panel discussion on "Integrated Communications", Charles gave his opinions on how to integrate traditional media with new media by sharing MEC's expertise in the global network.
The conference's highlight was the China Advertising Annual Awards Ceremony on the evening of March 17th, showcasing China's best talents in innovation, original thinking and successful brand communication. Bessie was presented the "Media Person with Major Contribution to the Industry" award. Mindshare China won the "High Performance Award" and MEC China won the "Effective Case Award" for Smart Taobao group buy campaign.
