In his role as Chief Executive Officer, Charles is responsible for one of the world's largest networks, overseeing more than 4,400 people in 80 countries.
Under Charles's leadership, MEC has enjoyed a great run of success. In the past three years the agency has grown by 12%, winning over 300 clients around the network. The agency was named Global Media Agency of the Year by both Adweek and Advertising Age twice, in 2006 and 2007. Over the past 8 years the company has grown its diversified offer into an industry-leading business model, launching specialist services such as MEC Interaction, MEC Access and MEC Retail. And in 2007, 96% of global staff agreed that "MEC is a great place to work".
Charles's media career spans more than twenty years, starting as a media planner with Young & Rubicam.
He is married and has three children.
