Johan Boserup is the Global CEO for GroupM Trading. In this role, Johan will oversee the media buying operation across WPP’s media agencies (Maxus, MEC, MediaCom and Mindshare), with total global billings of $90bn (RECMA). Johan sits on the Global Executive Committee of GroupM.
Johan is responsible for leveraging GroupM's market leading scale to enable the four agencies within the group to deliver incremental value to their clients. Johan is also tasked with driving new media trading models, challenging and moving the marketplace, to generate value for our clients.
Prior to joining GroupM in June 2013 Johan was Chief Trading & Accountability Officer Worldwide at Omnicom Media Group, responsible for media buying and delivery for OMD and PHD's clients across the globe.
Johan was with Omnicom for 17 years – a career that started in Denmark, but quickly expanded to the Nordic region with responsibility for both Trading and Digital Media.
By the end of 2005 Johan was appointed European Director of Trading and Accountability at OMG, and in early 2008 the role was expanded to Global.
Johan is Danish but has lived in London for many years, with his wife and two boys.
