In 2013 Rudiger (Ruud) Wanck was named Global COO for GroupM Interaction and joined GroupM’s global executive committee. As Global COO, he focusses on GroupM’s digital operations, digital technology and digital trading development in North America, Latin America, EMEA and APAC.
Prior to his appointment last year, he was the Chairman of GroupM for the Benelux and the Chief Digital Officer for GroupM in EMEA (a role he continues to execute). Before taking on his EMEA role, he worked at GroupM agency MEC as CCO and Managing Director for MEC Netherlands and before that in a Digital capacity in Europe.
He is co-author of the Dutch best-seller digital handbook 'Internet Advertising & Marketing' and has a degree in Physics and Business Economics.
