Appointed in June 2019, Ravi Rao is the current CEO at GroupM MENA. Previously, CEO at Mindshare MENA, Rao has 30 years’ market experience and 11 years within the GroupM network. Rao began his career, after business school in Mumbai, by launching the first P&G brand, Ariel in India. He has over 30 years of experience in media investment with 25 years working for a range of clients including Unilever, P&G and PepsiCo in South Asia and MENA. Delivering in-depth knowledge of local markets and enthusiasm for harnessing new data technology, Rao’s role of delivering outstanding results for clients is balanced with ensuring the best talent is in place in the region, as well as driving global and product innovations.

Eyad became MENA CEO in October 2016. Prior to this, Eyad founded StepStone and was the Managing Director and Co-Founder of DataMined. During his time with DataMined, he was involved in the development and launch of numerous products designed to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities and leverage social data for TV. Eyad also brings a wealth of media agency experience, having previously held senior management roles with MCN and Starcom MediaVest Group, working with clients such as General Motors, Richemont Group, Unilever, and a short stint with STC.

Rabe’s career spans 25+ years in media, advertising and communication. Previous to joining Motivator (GroupM India) in 2012, Rabe was at Reliance Broadcast Network, where he helped launch Live, Activation, Outdoor, digital businesses besides building strong integration models to unlock value of Reliance media assets. Prior to that worked nine years with Publicis Group Media, among others leading the expansion of the group’s agencies in Vietnam.

Rabe has worked with brands like Nestle, P&G, Hyundai, Honda Cars, Yamaha, Coca Cola Company, Bristol Mayer Squibb, Visa, Sara Lee, L’Oréal, Apple, Nokia, Huawei and numerous start-ups where he helped deliver winning marketing strategies, besides helped build award winning work for all the agencies he worked. Motivator his previous agency had become the fastest growing agency besides India’s Top 10 quality agency both as per RECMA 2015 within three years of his joining. He brings a mix of business and marketing expertise that is built on performance and client centricity.

Satish took over the leadership of BPG Maxus in 2007, after a short stint with MEC MENA as Regional Director.

Under his tenure as CEO of BPG Maxus, the agency has seen significant growth to both its client roster and its manpower. Notable regional wins have included Global Village, Kalyan Jewellers and MoneyGram. During his career, Satish has managed a diverse portfolio of local, regional and international brands acquiring hands-on experience across many sectors including real estate, banking and finance, telecommunications, Government, retail, FMCG and Public advocacy. Key clients have included SC Johnson, Global Village, First Gulf Bank, RTA, Prime Ministers’ Office and Barclays.

Satish has been with BPG since 1990 barring a short period where he worked with MEC MENA in the role of Regional Director. He started his career as a Media Planner in Bombay (currently known as Mumbai), India.

Marcus Siddons is Managing Director for GroupM Digital in Middle East and North Africa (MENA).  This encompasses all specialist businesses and teams supporting both our agency brands and direct clients.  The key business units include Xaxis, Keyade and [m]PLATFORM.  In his role, Marcus is responsible for managing operations across the region, trading, tech & data, partnerships and M & A.

Marcus joined Mindshare originally in 2009 as Head of Digital for MENA before founding and establishing GroupM and Xaxis in the region. Previously he was part of the founding team of Sony Pictures Television in MENA. In this role, he led strategy for the studio’s in-market web / mobile only productions as well as overseeing the digital platforms for Sony Television properties airing in the MENA market. His responsibilities included a focus on video monetization and second screen integration for the likes of ‘The Voice’ and branded entertainment properties such as ‘The Entrepreneur’.  In the UK Marcus started out at i-level, the industry’s decade defining digital agency before joining full service digital agency Graphico.  In 2008 Marcus played an integral role in the trade sale of Graphico to the AIM listed Digital Marketing Group plc. 

He holds a BA (Hons) from Oxford Brookes University in Marketing Management and was a member of the IAB UK’s Mobile Council and founding member of the IAB UK’s Social Media Taskforce.  He remains on the board of the IAB in MENA.

Marcus lives in Dubai with his wife and two young boys.  Hobbies include a passion for classic cars, previously writing for Evo Magazine and spending as much time in the Swiss Alps as possible.

Hicham joined the Keyade team in Paris after starting his career in hospitality sales in New York. He setup the Keyade Middle East office in MENA out of Dubai and has grown the agency to become one of the largest performance agencies in the region.

Hicham’s areas of expertise is Digital Performance and specifically Paid Search, SEO, Programmatic, Paid Social and analytics. Hicham has joined [m]PLATFORM as Head of Services in January 2018 after 7 years at Keyade where has partnered with clients like Movenpick Hotels, Nespresso, STC and others

Hicham is trilingual and holds a Msc in Business from Kedge Business School in Bordeaux.

As current Group Trading Director, Ahmad currently heads the group media investments across a high-profile portfolio of global and regional online and offline publishers across MENA. He has also been instrumental in leading the group’s proprietary media offering.

Dan has been in digital marketing for over 10 years. He started his digital career in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Search and later added other disciplines such as Mobile Advertising, Paid Social, Affiliate Marketing and Programmatic Advertising. Dan has also extensive experience in Website Analytics, Tracking Technologies, Usability, Conversion Optimization and Accessibility Testing.

Before joining GroupM [m]Platform as Data and Tech Lead he worked as Regional Head of Digital at Mediacom MENA. Dan has also worked at MEC in London where he headed Johnson & Johnson’s UK, IR & Northern European biddable team. Prior to MEC he worked at Threepipe Digital Marketing and PR Agency as Associate Director of Digital.

Dan has a BA Hons degree in Media and Business from Birkbeck, University of London and MA in Marketing from London Metropolitan University.

With Mindshare Tunisia since 2002, Hayet helped the agency foster remarkable success, making the agency Tunisia’s largest and most specialized agency. Hayet’s personal successes include winning multiple industry awards; Her team has been selected for several respected industry awards, including a Gold Lion award at Cannes in 2011. and receiving “MD of the Year” across Mindshare in MENA three times.

Before entering the world of media, Hayet graduated from Gustave Flaubert College of Tunis, and completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration at Toulouse University. Hayet also serves as an executive member of the National Union of Advertising Agencies (SAPA).

During Hana’s career with Mindshare Lebanon, the agency exhibited steady growth in size, profitability and fame; She led her team to win more than 25 awards celebrating media creativity in renowned events such as Campaign ME, Media Cristal, Effie Awards and Festival of Media.

In 2009, Hana was nominated the managing Director of year, celebrating her success launching the Mindshare office in Jordan.

Prior to entering the world of marketing in 1995, Hana graduated from Business School at the American University of Beirut (AUB) with a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.
