August 10, 2016 – Today MEC, www.mecglobal.com, announced the appointment of Janos Gulyas, CEO of MEC Hungary, as Head of MEC Wavemaker for the Central and Eastern European region. The announcement was made by Jeremy Clark, Managing Director for MEC Wavemaker in EMEA.
Janos Gulyas will continue as CEO of MEC Hungary while spearheading the development of MEC Wavemaker in the region. With a strong proposition already established in Poland, he will focus initially on evolving the offer in Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia. He will also be responsible for the acquisition strategy in the region.
MEC Wavemaker launched in April this year, unifying MEC’s content strategy, social, partnerships and experiential, organic search and creative services expertise into one integrated offer. By simplifying what can be a complicated process for clients, the proposition is focused on creating content that measurably improves a brand’s performance.
