Wavemaker, the merged MEC and Maxus entity, has appointed Aaron Smith (pictured) as global chief client officer, who will join on 2 October 2017. He will report to Tim Castree, global CEO of MEC and Wavemaker.
Prior to his latest role, Smith was at global brand and marketing consultancy Prophet for more than 13 years, with his last role being partner. During his time as partner for over four years, he worked across brands such as GE, ExxonMobil, Target, Kimberly Clark, McDonald’s and Nike. Before that, he was a senior engagement manager at Prophet. Smith also worked at US-based brand consultant Envision and strategy and innovation consulting firm Sterling-Rice Group.
