Charlotte Frijns Appointed CFO at GroupM UK

GroupM, the media investment group of WPP, has today announced that Charlotte Frijns former chief financial officer at Publicis Media, will join GroupM UK as chief financial officer (CFO).

Reporting to GroupM UK CEO Tom George, Frijns will head up the finance division leading on the strategy and day-to-day management of the operation.

“Charlotte has extensive experience within media agencies and a great understanding of the challenges and the opportunities facing our industry,” said Tom George, GroupM UK CEO. “I know that she will be a valuable addition to the senior leadership team and positively contribute to driving further success for the company in the UK.”

Originally from The Netherlands, Frijns started her career at VNU Publishing in 1999, before joining PwC’s Transaction services team in Amsterdam where she worked in the mergers and acquisitions team.

In 2007, Frijns joined Publicis Groupe as Finance Manager for ZenithOptimedia UK. During her time at Publicis she held a variety of roles across the business, including Finance Director for Digitas UK, CFO for ZenithOptimedia UK and Commercial Director for Zenith Worldwide.

Frijns will join GroupM UK in May 2018.
