Montréal (May 17, 2019) – GroupM, the leading global media investment management operation of WPP, announced today the promotion of Monique Brosseau to President of GroupM Québec.

In this new role, Brosseau will be responsible for all of GroupM’s business activities in Québec, supporting the agency’s brands in delivering exceptional service to clients. She will also be tasked with continuing the expansion of GroupM’s brands in this market.

Brosseau will be based in Montréal and report to Stuart Garvie, CEO of GroupM Canada. She will also work closely with the Canada CEOs of the various GroupM brands.

Prior to becoming President of GroupM Montréal, Brosseau had served as Senior Vice President, business director for MediaCom Canada since December 2017. Before MediaCom, she held management and senior executive positions at DDB Montreal, ZenithOptimedia, Nurun, Publicis and Edelman.

“This market is just so vital to anyone looking to succeed in Canada including GroupM,” Brosseau said. “I’m excited to put my experience to work in getting our clients big wins in the Québec and rest of Canada. I’m also looking forward to working with Stuart and the rest of the Canadian CEOs to continue elevating our clients in the way they’ve come to expect from us.
